We value eLearning and believe it is essential for staff to acquire learning in a convenient and timely manner. We hope to expand this area as we develop new exciting training modules. Our first eLearning training module we developed is one that requires all new staff hired in the District to become familiar with Occupational Health and Safety. We wanted to make the training available 24 x 7 and so we captured the training that would normally be provided to staff and converted it into a learning object where it can be reused as often as necessary. This can also serve as a refresher training exercise to existing staff. Once the training is completed, a record of each employee that has successfully taken the training will be generated and the employee file will be updated.
